Hey Everyone! So this is my first blog back from STN and the trip was a blast! Today's blog topic is my 3 most meaningful moments during STN, I think mine were the awards ceremony, Disney studio tour, and the Grizzly ride at Disneyland.
My first favorite memory of the trip was probably the awards ceremonies, mainly because CKMS won! I was so happy I cried because PSA got third. I also loved the awards because all the hawaii schools and castaiac were sitting by us and it was really nice that we were all cheering and supporting eachother and it made the experience even better than normal.
The second favorite memory I had was the Disney animation studio tour, I loved all the things we did there like see rough cuts of Moana, the canoe that it was inspired by, and we even got to see what new movies that are going to be made and how the animation is created.
My last favorite memory was the Grizzly Raft ride In California Adventure at Disney. So what happens is you start on a big circular raft and you go down huge drops through caves, what made it even better was that there was no people in line since it was night and that made it even more thrilling since it was dark, but the best part was that I sat with my friends and we were all laughing and having a great time.
In conclusion, our trip was awesome and I loved it and the memories that came with it, thanks for reading and Ill see you guys next week, bye!
Hey everyone! Today's blog topic is about STN! I will be talking about three things I am excited for when we go there, first I am excited to go on the walk of fame and take pictures with the stars on the sidewalk, next Im excited to compete, especially in Crazy 8's, and lastly, go to disneyland.
So the first thing I am excited about is going to the walk of fame in Hollywood, I really want to take pictures with the stars on the ground, the stars I want to take pictures with are Mickey Mouse, Michael Jackson, Grumpy Cat, and Tom Hanks. Im excited because many celebrities have been on that sidewalk, and I would love to walk where they have walked.
The second thing I am excited about is competing in Crazy 8's, my team is awesome and we all get along, and last time I really liked the video we made because it was funny and we had a great team producing it. I really enjoyed working with my teammates because we were able to agree on a lot and compromise the rest easy.
The third thing I am excited about is Disneyland. Because its Disneyland, it automatically makes it amazing, but I am excited to go to the educational thing where you learn how to create a story, but I like my chaperone group and I love rides that are not to intense, but the three rides that terrified me the last few times I went were Its a small world, Matterhorn and the Tower of Terror. For some reason when I went with family, I did not want to go on crazy rides, but this time, for some reason, I do want to go with my classmates on the thrilling rides. But probably my favorite rides are the winnie the pooh and dumbo or the rocket ship, I know these rides are kind of babyish, but they are the ones I grew up with so I love them, however my brother constantly wanted to do the buzz lightyear, so I pretty much memorized everything in that ride and get every target there is to shoot. My favorite areas in Disneyland are Critter County, Mickey's Toontown, and Adventure land, but I love pretty much everything, Just so you know...I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In conclusion I am excited for the walk of fame, competing in crazy 8's, and DISNEYLAND!!!!!! Thank you for reading, and next week I will be at STN, so go to the STN page for daily blogs/vlogs! Bye!!
Hey readers! Today's blog topic is about STN practices and how we did. Both for normal STN and Crazy 8's teams.
First is about the normal STN, I think we are not close to being the best team at all, there is a lot of slacking off and complaining. However we decided that we would try harder so we will do good in STN and the last practice was pretty good.
For Crazy 8's I think I have an amazing team, we got along awesome, and there was pretty much no struggles and we came out with an amazing video. The only problem is the others found out we went to the ice cream place to film, but everyone wanted ice cream and the boys insisted they got it. Well I just said lets not do that at the real STN after.
Pretty much I think that normal STN could be better, but is chill, and Crazy 8's is awesome, I think STN will be a great experience and hopefully we can make the deadlines, (aka our worst enemy) and win something. But even if we don't win, we are going to have an awesome time.
Thanks for reading!
Hey people reading! Today's blog topic is what team I want to be on and three reasons I want to be on it. I would kind of like to be on the Facebook team. The reasons are 1~I know how to use Facebook 2~I want to be on a social media team and all of the others are filled 3~I like managing social media. I don't really care if Im the leader or a normal team member, but I am willing to lead.
The first reason I would like to manage Facebook is because I know how to use it, like I can post stuff, edit profiles, and that kind of stuff.
The second reason I want to manage Facebook is that I want to be on a social media team, when I was signing up, all of the others were taken so I chose Facebook. Being on a social media team would be good because I can post all of the stuff about the farmers with good captions to get more notice on the project
The third reason I would like to do Facebook is I like managing social media. As I said earlier, I want to do Facebook because I know how to use social media and I like to get people to follow and stuff.
In conclusion, I want to do Facebook because I know how to use it, the others are filled, and I like managing social media.
Hey readers! Today's blog topic is about my PSA and how I thought I did on it. I think I did and ok job. The three reasons I think this is one, I filmed late, two, I had time to get a second draft, and three the PSA became better because I had amazing actors.
The first reason was I filmed late, which is completely my fault. I was trying to film for a bit but every time I tried to film something crazy happened. So I had to film the day before the deadline and I didn't have as much time to edit then if I filmed earlier.
The second reason I thought I did ok was I was able to get 2 drafts which is less than I want but better than nothing, and of course, it is because I filmed late, but I got corrections and were able to apply them.
The third reason my PSA was ok was I had awesome actors, if they weren't like that I would probably have a really bad PSA. They made everything seem realistic and looked natrual. So a big thank you to them. Also what made it better is that since Napua had to film also so we did it on the same day with the same camera to make things easier, like I was in her video and she was in mine.
In conclusion, I think my PSA was ok, because I filmed late, got some corrections, however I had amazing actors.

Hey readers! Today's blog topic is three traits a president should display as the leader of america, so a new president was elected about a month ago, President Trump. I think he has been doing a good job so far, because he knows what he is doing, unlike me, an eleven year old.
The first and probably the most important trait a president can have is logic. It is like putting the needs of the country before a few people's emotions, and making laws that benefit the majority, over a small percentage.
The second trait a president should have is honesty. This is important because a president who hides things and lies about it is not a good president, like this could start a war! Also honesty means not being a cheater, for example, not screwing up debates to your advantage and hiring your own moderators.
The third trait a president should have is to treat others the same level you are, and to not discriminate over nothing, and to not accuse people of discriminating you. For example, if someone calls you a racist, do not get mad, as a president, you should have thick skin. Another one is calling out steriotypes, and like if someone in a group does something, do not accuse all of the group unless they are supporting that bad thing.
In conclusion the three traits a president should have are logic, honesty, and having thick skin. Thanks for reading!
Hey everyone! Today's blog topic is about how we are doing with announcements, so anyways, this past week I was on the air, and It was okay. But I feel like I should do my best to improve, and speaking about improving, I will be saying three ways we can improve announcements.
The first way we can improve is if everybody acts like we are going live during practice, our real live broadcast will be even better. This is because if we make mistakes, we will figure out how to correct it before we go live.
The second way we can make our announcements better is a picture. We have a green screen, and it would look better if we put a picture in it. CKTV has wanted to do it, but we never really got to it. I think it will make announcements look more interesting.
The third way we could improve is to put a video at the end of the broadcast. know we do this already, but we could use some of the older videos and a different kinds of videos.
In conclusion, I think practicing good, use a picture, and use more videos, and thanks for reading!
Hey readers! Today's blog topic is good to great and what it means to us and how we can do it in 3rd quarter. So I think good to great means take what you do good, and do it even better to improve, so anyways, today I will be explaining what I will do this quarter, to be good to great.
My first thing I will do to go good to great is to begin even earlier on projects to completley avoid procrasinating, for example, for my PSA I have my script finished, and I just need to get it checked. We have a week to film, and I already asked people if they can be in it. Tommorow is when im thinking of filming, and I will ask everyone today.
My second thing I want to do better this quarter is announcements, not like as an announcer since I haven't done it yet, but being behind the scenes, since I live 30 minutes away from school, when most people live 5 minutes away, I am often late, which I hate myself for, so my goal is to always be on time.
My third thing I want to better is inside scoops, since we usually are recording scoops the week they are due, it is hard to edit very fast, and stressful to get them in on time, so my goal is to start recording earlier.
In conclusion, the things I want to do good to great are not procrasinating, being earlier at announcements, and finishing inside scoops earlier.
Hey everyone! Today's blog topic will be about morning announcements. So in case you don't know, morning announcements is a mini television program we do just for the school, in which we talk about what is going on that day, ect. Leadership used to do this, but for reasons to complicated to explain, we, media, took over. So I like this change, and I like how we don't have to rely on others, also I like how we can add videos and other stuff to it. But anyways, lets get on to the real thing, 3 things we can do to make sure they are the best they can be.
My first thing I want to do to make morning announcments better is to not procrasinate when I do my scripts, the reason for this is that if I procrasinate, I could have errors and that wont be good, then our whole school would have messed up announcements! I plan to overcome this by doing my scripts very early, and spending time to check them for mistakes.
My second thing I want to do to make morning announcements better is that I should always be early to announce. The reason for this is it makes everybody crazy when the announcer is late or doesn't have a script, and that's why we switched to us media kids announcing.
My last thing I want to do is be a good announcer, the reason for this is nobody wants to see a bored or not well-practiced announcer on there brodcast, also that would be bad if I did that.
In conclusion, my three goals are to not procrasinate, be early to announce, and be a good announcer.
Hey everyone, today's blog will be about new semester, and my new goals, so today i will be talking about that.
First, last semester went okay in my opinion, and I think I could have done better, for one thing, I believe my 1st quarter project was not good, we didn't get enough b-roll, and we didn't do a voiceover, so I give that a 5 out of 10 in my opinion. My second quarter project was funner since Mia and I got to go out into the real world and get a real story, we did our project on KUGA aka Kauai Underground Artists, and it was cool getting to film the dancers and teachers, and I think that was much better than first quarter. So in all I give 1st semester a 7 out of 10.
Now that it is 2nd semester, I have newer goals. The first one is to not procrasinate as much and start early on my projects. I plan to accomplish this by starting to film my PSA as soon as I am allowed to, and not joke around while filming it. I plan to edit it early so I have a lot of time to make it great.
My second goal is to be a good announcer, because media took over announcements and I will be announcing in early Febuary. I plan do memorize my scripts and practice sounding good. Also I will try my best not to do this habit I do alot where I pucker my mouth randomly.
My third goal is to be more indepentent, like in 1st semester I relied on returnees to help me with stuff and this quarter, I will do my best to do it on my own
In conclusion, those are my goals and how I plan to do them, byeee!
